Green Coffee Bean Extract
Green Coffee beans are flying off the shelves both literally and in a cyber sense. It seems that anything mentioned on the Dr. Oz show gets this kind of fame. (Remember Oprah and her book recommendations?)
Green coffee beans are coffee beans that have not been roasted. These beans contain chlorogenic acid which apparently slows the release of glucose into the system. A study that was published in the journal Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity claims that over 22 weeks participants lost more than 17 pounds without changing their diet and fitness routine.
Pros and Cons of Green Coffee Bean Extract
Weight loss supplement that appears to have some merit
You can get the Dr. Oz recommended variety from Amazon instead of ‘out there’.
Many scammers and hucksters out there charging double or more than they should
Reports of headaches and cramps but unclear if this is the fillers in the cheaper products
I am personally not crazy about the idea of weight loss supplements (but that is just my own opinion)
So for what it’s worth, Dr. Oz says to make sure your green bean coffee extract has the following:
- Contains Svetol
- No fillers and all natural ingredients
- 50% chlorogenic acids
- reputable seller with customer service (Amazon or other large company)
I have provided the link to one that meets this criteria. (NOTE) – Yes, there are cheaper bottles on Amazon than this one, but they will be missing one or more of the key ingredients listed above!
